In Echigo-Yuzawa, a small town known as the "Japanese Alps," its magnificent mountain scenery and unique hot spring culture captivate countless travelers. This tranquil landscape inspired our creativity and became the source of inspiration for Shiro Inn.

Shiro Inn is a pure white wooden house, its exterior design inspired by huts in the Alps. Breaking free from the constraints of traditional Japanese style, this house seamlessly blends the pure white of Japan with European elegance, evoking a unique charm like a Japanese girl in a European dress.

Shiro Inn offers exquisite Western-style rooms, some double rooms with private toilets and bathrooms for added convenience and comfort.

Before the pandemic, we had the pleasure of meeting the previous owner of this house. He held it in deep affection and dreamed of transforming it into a unique villa, blending the purity of Nordic style with the elegance of Japanese aesthetics. Although the pandemic prevented him from realizing his dream, his passion and vision for the inn deeply moved us, and we decided to take it forward, carrying on the legacy of his predecessors and allowing the inn to continue and revitalize.

The interior of Shiro Inn retains many of the previous owner's treasured picture frames and collections, blending the elegance of European Western dress with the essence of Japanese elegance. A shared bathing area with a Japanese-style bathhouse creates a unique atmosphere that combines the simplicity of Japanese beauty with the elegance of European culture.

The large open social space allows every guest to experience the friendly and open atmosphere of European and American culture. The self-service open kitchen provides simple ingredients and appliances, encouraging guests from all over the world to showcase their culinary skills, prepare their own cuisine, and share it with others.

Shiro Inn also offers numerous comfortable nooks where you can retreat and enjoy a moment of tranquility. Every corner is thoughtfully designed to provide your own comfort and relaxation.

Shiro Inn Yuzawa Nakasato is now open for a winter trial run.Shiro Inn will debut in 2024. We hope to create a Nordic-themed atmosphere, filled with European-style collections, to bring a brand new accommodation experience.
